What’s on your heart?
(I hope this feels like an exhale.)
At The Heartwork Lab, we create space for what is sacred and true within you, rooted in somatic and spiritual exploration. This is a softer way into embodied healing, where somatic presence, intuitive knowing, and spiritual connection are all woven together.
Here, you begin to let go of what was never truly yours and name what is on your heart. We take our time with it and let clarity unfold at its own pace.
Clarity becomes honesty, and over time that honesty deepens, becoming something steadier—an inner trust you no longer have to reach for outside yourself.
What is Heartwork?
Choose to belong to yourself
Heartwork is the intentional practice of looking at and embodying what is on your heart.
So what is on your heart?
Heartwork asks you to return to this question, again and again, with discipline and devotion.
We are rarely taught to slow down long enough to answer it.
And this is exactly where the work begins.
What is
The Heartwork Lab?
Find yourself here
Many healing approaches tend to focus only on parts of who we are.
The Heartwork Lab exists to hold you in your completeness and complexity, as someone wonderfully whole and human. Here, mind, body, and spirit are not separate conversations. They belong to each other.
Whether in 1:1 Momentum journeys, workshops, or other Heartwork offerings, the work moves with what is present for you and calls for your attention. Each session begins with what is actually here and on your heart.
We create the conditions for your nervous system to settle and for your inner world to feel steady enough to speak. From there, we let it lead.
The Heartwork Method
At its core, the Heartwork method rests on a few essential principles:
Somatic. We step out of the noise and into the body. We listen to its signals, its rhythms, its felt sense. We work with the nervous system to build real safety, the kind you can feel. Movement and awareness clear what the busy mind alone cannot.
Spiritual. We make room for intuition, prayer, and the divinity that moves through all things. Whether you call it God, Spirit, Source, The Divine, or something else entirely, we honor your relationship with what feels sacred. The language matters less than the connection. Love is always the throughline.
Relational. Rooted in kapwa (the Filipino belief that your identity is woven into mine, and mine into yours), we honor our shared humanity. Healing deepens when you are held as an extension of another person with empathy and care. You can remove your masks. You do not have to perform here.
Experimental. You are encouraged to try new things. To notice what shifts and question what doesn’t. You draw your own conclusions and decide what stays with you. Intuition and agency are essential here. This is your journey.
Joy. Joy is not separate from healing. It is medicine. It teaches your mind, body, and spirit what safety feels like and reminds you that transformation does not always have to be heavy to be real. Play is spiritual and laughter is sacred. Healing can hold depth and levity at the same time.
This is the spirit of Heartwork. The work meets you—and your heart answers back.
What shifts
Over time, you become steadier.
You begin paying attention to yourself, moment to moment. You think, breathe, move, speak with more intention. You build the capacity to be with yourself and feel your emotions without becoming completely undone. Your energy changes. You recognize where your own self-love has been absent and practice it until it flows naturally. You trust your own discernment and remember your power. You learn to choose yourself, over and over again.
At The Heartwork Lab, you will know and love yourself better.

Me, as I am.
Monica Tuy, Heartwork embodied
For most of my life, I wasn’t at peace with myself. I lived with a bravado to disguise my insecurity and masked it with more: more success, more material things, more accolades. From the outside, I looked steady and accomplished, but inside there was a disharmony I could not shake.
I was running on empty from this emotional and spiritual deficit and eventually hit a wall. I began desperately searching for a way back home to myself, to my power. Over the years, I immersed myself in many healing modalities—therapy, energy work, somatic practices, spiritual traditions, and different philosophical frameworks. I studied under many teachers, and explored and tested what I was learning in my own life. I learned to discern what felt right and true for me from concepts that sounded good in theory. In my trial and error, I realized that no single practice or method could contain the depth of my healing.
Every road led me back to the same question: What is on my heart? The real work was not just asking the question, but in embodying the answer. This wisdom became the foundation of The Heartwork Lab.
Slowly but surely, I learned to show up in my life wiser, softer, more aware, and more honest. I stopped trying to avoid and outrun myself. I stopped searching for my worthiness in other people, places and things. Now I tell truer stories about who I am. I exhale more deeply because I feel safe within myself. My life feels fuller now. Even lovelier. Not because the world has changed, but because I have.
At The Heartwork Lab, I guide others inward in the same way I learned to go all the way inward myself. I hold this healing work with depth and devotion, and I will speak love over your Heartwork journey. This space is my life’s Heartwork.
You & Heartwork.
You choosing you
Maybe your life looks good on paper, but something inside you still feels unsettled.
Maybe you are strong and capable, the one others rely on, and yet there are parts of you no one really sees.
Maybe you have done so much introspective work already, and still, there is a quiet knowing that there is more for you.
More honesty.
More depth.
More of you.
And I want to say this gently—it is not selfish to want more. It is not dramatic. It is not too much, and neither are you.
If there is something on your heart that wants to be met more fully, to be known more deeply, to live more truthfully…it’s okay to listen to it.
…I really hope you do.
“When the teacher opens up it allows for the students to feel welcome to open up in this environment and to also feel relaxed. One's aura and environment makes a world of a difference and Monica provides that. The vibration and change is palpable by the end of the workshop. It’s beautiful.

“I left Monica’s workshop feeling lighter, feeling unconditional love from source/myself/and for others - it was beautiful. The connects made there and the shadows that come up weere the perfect place to do so. I was comfortable being vulnerable and open because Monica set the tone for that. My shadows were able to be hugged because Monica softly gave me the space to do so. I truly loved my time during and after the workshops I’ve done with Monica - and would absolutely do more again in the future.”
— M.C.
“Honestly, I'm someone who goes to therapy, does their journaling, and names 5 things I'm grateful for as soon as I open my eyes. I thought I was doing ‘the work’, but oh... I was so wrong. The Heartwork Workshop was such a beautiful and eye-opening experience. As Monica guided us, pouring all the *honey light*, she shared a little bit of her own story... and I felt like I was looking at myself in the mirror. I was faced with parts of myself that I didn't want to see but I sat in that safe space, feeling the overwhelming emotions, and allowed myself to just *be* (I still tear up thinking about it). While it wasn't comfortable, it was exactly what I needed and I left the Heartwork Workshop feeling so much lighter and centered, and more connected with myself than ever before.”
